Korg Kaossilator Pro vs. Akai Remix 16...

I have just picked one of these up pretty cheap to have a play with...

I couldn't believe the functionality of it, especially to say it was produced 13 years ago, and it made me wonder just how much better the Kaossilator Pro is...
So far from the manual for the Remix 16 (I haven't received it yet), it seems that a higher sample rate and not (yet) defunct memory and overdubbing to banks are all the KPro has in its favour as far as looping goes. However, the Akai has four times the banks and enough internal memory to have all 16 banks play loops as long or longer than the KPro.
Of course, the KPro is a very intuitive and pretty good sounding synth too.
If the Akai proves to be all it seems it could be, I might even sell my KPro...
Also, this is not an attack on the KPro at all. It has MANY virtues and I really like it as a machine. It will do for many people exactly what they want, it's just not exatly what I want, I don't think.
