I realise there is a dedicated place for this on here but I wanted to offer it to you nice Kaoss folk first, before I put it on Gumtree or eBay...
I have decided to part ways with my
Kaossilator Pro.
Anyone interested? Sensible offers will be considered. But don't be offended if I reject what you might consider sensible.

Trade? Your KOPro for my ReMote37SL?
edit:
Some other stuff I have too... EZ-AG (useful as a MIDI guitar), have an HP laptop going spare in a month or so possibly, some more MIDI stuff...
Are you just dumping all the KORG gear?

Sorry, buddy. Part of the reason I'm selling it is that I have too much gear. And that's just one of the things I don't really need.
If you really wanted it, you could try selling those things you wanted to trade and buy it from me? Obviously up to you.
As for dumping all my Korg stuff, not really. Although it does seem that way. After I sell the KPro, I'll still have an AX1000G guitar pedal and a KP3. Probably buy a Monotron when they come out too. I haven't completely lost faith in Korg.

I actually haven't even got it yet. Found it today, almost brand new, for £150.

If I can come up with an offer based on the above, I'll let you know. Truthfully not aware of the resale value of any of it at this point.

I can appreciate that. Some of the stuff I've sold recently, I didn't have a cluse what it could fetch until I did some research.

Hi Mr36,
I am surprised! You were a very active poster in this forum and very PRO-KPro!
What happened that you want to sell it after this short time???
No wait for OS 2.0 ?

I am still very Pro KPro. It's just not for me. I posted about the an old Akai unit I found called the Remix 16 and that does pretty much everything I want.
The KPro doesn't and I can't afford to keep gear that I don't really need. I don't work completely minimally but I try my best not to have excess stuff.
So that's that.
When I was researching the KPro and wondering whether or not to buy one, I did wonder whether an original Kaossilator and KP3 might be more powerful and now I think that this is the case.
It is still an amazing piece of kit though and if I could afford to keep it as well, I would.

If you saw the links the other fellow provided about adding features to the Kaossilator, give it a try. That'll make your system (which I agree will be a good one) even a little better. Good luck!

Which features are you referring to? I saw the ones about basically circuit-bending the original Kaossilator...

@k0va5
I've just got a KP3 today and I'm already happier with it than the KPro. Not that you should really compare them but just for my own means.
Might try to pick up a cheap Kaossilator too. But until then I'll see what the KP3 can do to an MC-303, Casio VL-5 and whatever else! :p
@X-Trade
I didn't realise what the EZ-AG was when I read it but have just had a little look-see and can't believe I'd never heard of them. Looks pretty interesting and actually surprisingly capable.

I'm not sure of all the extra features on the first Kaossilator, but I know they include note sustain, echo and other effects.
I wish I would've known - I would've bought yours! In the meantime, good luck with your new setup - I'm glad you are happy with it. I picked up a KP1 for $60. Not a KP3, but it still has a lot of nice features for that amount. We all have different goals to achieve, but after two days, I am VERY happy with the Pro. Among other things, I wanted more percussion features and using the slide bar to control timing or speed with a lot of the patterns and kits is making me quite happy....

I like industrial music and those little moments when the drums speed up and sound like a jackhammer for a second or two.
Whenever I go to sell something, I check completed auctions on E-Bay to get an idea what people are paying. And Craigslist to see if there are any listed and what's being asked for.

Ah, so you did mean those "circuit-bent" extra features. Although they might be nice, I'm not really into messing with the insides of my stuff. Even if it's done properly.
As for my Kaossilator Pro... It's still for sale, people!
