Cases...

Post by Mr36 »

Fear not. This is not a post about grammar.

Just wondering what you lovely people use to tranport your Kaoss products. I can't seem to find any dedicated cases or bags for them at all.
And I don't really fancy just chucking them in a holdall with any other equipment, nor taking the boxes everywhere.

I can't vouch for them personally, but was looking at getting something from here for some other gear: http://www.skbcases.co.uk/waterproof-cases/?page=4

Not cheap, but they come in a variety of sizes and you can get them with foam padding or empty, to put your own padding in, cut to shape

Ah, yes, I did see this in another post of yours and forgot. It is certainly a good idea. Not sure if it's suitable for my means... But I'll have a look and a think. Maybe it can be made to me for me.

It just seems surprising that no-one, not even Korg, make a dedicated bag or case for the Kaoss products unless you pay through the nose for custom stuff, which I can unfortunately not afford. Thanks for the link though, Mr o' Puppets.

I appreciate the small flapped bubble-wrappers the little ones come in.
Great for throwing into a suitcase with other gear or slipping into a shoulder bag.

My mini-KP fits really nicely in a solid metallic CD wallet case I have.
It is like a small KP-sized box. I took the CD sleeves/pages out. I even have enough space to put some spare batteries in there too.
