Z1 Multiset volume

Wonder if anyone can help on this one? Running a Z1 through cubase (along with an EMX1, supernova and JV1080) and using a multiset to get several midi patches.

Problem is that when I use a patch through a multiset the volume of the patch is very quiet. Same patch on its own not through a multiset and the volume is as expected.

I've looked at the "mix" function and the multiset part im trying to use is set to max.

I'm tearing my hair out over this one, any help most appreciated.
