using samples made with kaossilator pro?

Post by alchemikey »

hello everyone...

so i have saved like 120 (ALL) patterns i like with the kaoss pro and now i would like the ability to start up any of these patterns on the touch of a button...so instead of having 4 buttons i need like 100

any recommendations?

peace,
mikey

you can only have 4 samples loaded into the kaoscillator at once. loading a new sample in takes forever and stops all other audio.

if you want to have access to all 120 loops in real time without stopping the audio, i'd suggest loading them into ableton live and using a livid block ( www.lividinstruments.com ) to trigger them. personally i'm not aware of any hardware that can do this, you'll most likely need a computer.

As salamanderanagram stated:

1. With the KPro-Editor you can load the KPro-Loops and export them to Wav-Files (right click in the loop-window).

2. Load the Wav-Files as clips in Ableton Live-session-View and map them to a midi-controller. Best Controler would be Novation Launchpad as it is instantly mapped to the clips (and you get an Ableton Live-Lite Version with it bundled)!

So you have instant access to 8x8 Clips and can record your performance to an Arrangement and edit it afterwards in the Live-Arrangement-Window!

But - You must ues a PC!

Regards!
