Korg Zero 8 for recording?'

Hi
I am quite into buying a Korg Zero 8 to use as my audio interface and mixer in my home studio.
Is this a good option?
I have a Edirol FA-101 but sometimes it records with some noise and more inputs would be great, like the 8 stereo channels I would get with the Korg Zero 8.
The best price I've seen so far in Europe is 695 euros.
Anyone knows of a store with a better price in Europe?
And considering this price range, is there something nicer I could get?
I searched a bit on the forum and I have to say I got a bit worried about all the problems mentioned here.
Do they basically ruin the Zero 8, or is it still worth getting one?
I intend to buy one new with warranty, but it's still not pleasant to have to get it repaired from time to time...
Thanks in advance,
Best regards
Paugui
