Wassup people,
please could somebody tell me of a quick and easy way to switch a song/cue list (or just some individual tracks and sequences) freely between an MPC 2500(with cd/dvd drive installed) and a korg triton extreme?

say for example i made a beat on the MPC and i wanted to hop the song/cue list (or just a couple of indivdual tracks and sequences) to the triton to run just the bass track thru the valve force FX and apply some eq and compression to the kick and snare tracks of my sequence then hop it straight back into the MPC 2500

PLEASE NOTE:
* both take CF card,
* both have MIDI in's and outs,
* both can be connected to each other via. digital in's and outs (with a coaxial optical converter)
* triton had USB type A and B ports whilst MPC2500 just has the type B (peripheral)
* the mpc2500se has a DVD/CD drive built in whereas the triton extreme can be connected to an external CD drive via. USB,
* triton extreme can load 'AKAI sample file' and 'AKAI program file'.
The manual also mentions it can load 'AKAI Volume' which says..
"you can load program files and sample files in a single operation from a volume on an AKAi s1000/s3000 format sample CD"

Thanks in Advance to anyone who can help me with this.... Peace!

Um.. You know that you can process external signals to the Triton Extreme right?

Just run the output of the MPC into the Audio In(s) of the Triton Extreme and then go to your global settings and open the inputs.

No big deal. If you need further assistance, I'll check back periodically.
