Using DS-1H in nonKorg synth

Hi, I wonder if I can use DS-1H damper pedal in nonKorg synth like yamaha motif or not. Is there anyone can answer my question 
Damper pedals are universal, polarity is not.
You can use the pedal in other keyboards. If it doesn't work, there may be a switch underneath the pedal to change polarity. Then, simply unplug the pedal and then plug it in again. If that doesn't work, you may need to check the damper polarity settings within the keyboard or reboot it.
