Thank you Pastor-of-Muppets. Cor blimey, its all very complicated!! Will see what I can sort...

Does anybody know how to set MIDI on a kassilator pro (and KP3) so it will send MIDI clock and trigger simultaneous playback on my Zoom Sampletrak?

1. Press 1 and 2 and Sampling while powering on the KP3.

2. PrLD will appear in the LED.

3. C will be on, D will be flashing.

(This is where Korg left me, after waiting and not seeing any change I pressed D. I know, genius!)

4. Press D.

5. urt will flash in the LED.

6. P.off will then appear in the LED.

7. Power off and on the KP3, enjoy factory reset goodness.

there's something I really would like to understand : what does it mean for the KP3, "factory reset" ? Which parameters are reset that you canont reset by hand in a few seconds ?
The effects cannot be parametrized, so they cannot be reset.

It resets all the preset effects, all the sample banks, all midi information, all settings you've changed etc. I've had to do it before when it got buggy and it worked like a charm. :]

Sorry, but I still don't understand the interest of this operation : resetting the initial affectation of the eight, resetting a midi channel : it takes a few minutes to do it by hand.
So, what do you mean by "all settings you've changed" ? what is the list of parameters resetted ?

He means all settings that can be changed revert to their factory state. So all of the settings that you can change in a few minutes will be reset in one fell swoop.
