Will there ever be a firmware update for KO-Pro?

Hi, Im new here. Ive used Korg products for years but never really found the need to post here. Ive used the Kaossilator for a few years now but recently decided to get the new Kaossilator Pro as I imagined it would be great. Well I got it yesterday and to be honest I was horribly disapointed with this product. It has so much potential but has too many annoying things about it that just angers me. My question is will there ever be a firmware update with improvements made? The main things that annoy me are: Why cant I control the pitch of the programs with a MIDI controller. This is ridiculous!! There should be quantize on the loop banks and the gate slider is pretty horrible. The gate on the small one is much much better. There are a lot more things that should have been added but these are my 3 pet hates about this product.
I really hope there will be a firmwate update sometime soon as I am totally disappointed with this product and I would imagine there are loads of other customers disappointed too. The KO-1 was far better.

so anyone who knows more about this than me correct me if im wrong in any of my statements.
The problems you bring up are not really valid in my opinion. first of all many of the programs will also play different pitches using the y value of the pad and this wouldn't cross over to a keyboard very easily. second, quantize? Im not sure what you want from korg here but if you are referring to correcting timing through the loop recorder it wont be possible as the loop recorder is recording audio, not note data. finally the gate arp is great fun when you actually get used to playing it and i dont see why so many people dislike it.

when I talk about quantize I mean quantize on the press of the bank buttons to align with the other banks playing. Its impossible to get it perfect everytime so its always a little off. Would be a very simple feature to add. The problem with the gate is that its hard to replicate the same result more than once. Its a bit of a hit or a miss.

Thanks for your reply Ghost. Just tried out the MIDI with my other hardware. Why doesnt it sync correctly?? The BPM matches but it doesnt sync. There is no point of implementing MIDI when it doesnt actually sync to other devices. I wonder what other disappoints Korg have in store for me with this product. I really hope there is a firmware update pretty soon coz im considering getting rid of this, it just isn't what it should have been. I bet there are loads of other disappointed customers. Such a shame really.

i am confused man...if you read this board, you will see lots and lots of people who mention the issues you bring up...but you have only just begun to figure out the kpro, and frankly, until you spend a month or two playing every day, you will not really know how well it works or what YOU need to adjust in your playing style and techniques to accommodate your new gear
I have never used midi in my life...until yesterday...i bought a midi cord, attached my kaossilator pro to my mc 303...and not only does the timing synch up amazingly, i could instantly play the mc 303 with the touch pad and adjusted other controls to do other things...and I had never even seen a midi cord until yesterday
it does not seem that difficult, and maybe just spending some more time working with it will give you better results.

Korg should really have noticed that before they let it ship...
