Hey boys. Got a doozey for ya...

I've got an opportunity to buy a DX7 from a friend for $150 with 2 expansion cartridges. It's in great condition. Noteworthy, however, is my ownership of Native Instruments' FM8 - into which I have loaded factory DX7 patches via sysex.

However, I've also got an opportunity to purchase a DW8000 from another friend for $100 (I know a lot of synth-heads).

And finally, I noticed that Akai is releasing its SynthStation for the iPhone. They're even going to make a controller for it. How cool, right? I know it's still a softsynth... but hey..

So I need to decide between these three. Fast.

So, which one?

the sound resources will take you about 3 weeks to choose the "right ones"

Although being one of the biggest DX-7 fans during the 80ies I would go for the DW-8000. The latter is definitely underestimated.

Forget about the mobile phone thing ... wait a bit and you will get much more in the near future.

Bought the DX7 because he was throwing in the three cartridges at $150 USD. What could I do? The DW8000... I still might try to get it later on from my other friend.
