Just a small poll to see what people think is the most important improvement they would like on the KO-Pro. Hopefully this will raise awareness to Korg for a future firmware update. I have only included features that i think can realistically be achieved.

You already can turn the LED's off completely. And by combining two sound banks already is use, you mean "bouncing", yes?

Really, all of them could do with being implemented. :P

Bouncing tracks would limit you for that reason, but it could free yourself up for various other things. I think that the benefits heavily outweigh any limitations it might cause.

And just like all the other things, you wouldn't have to use that function.

As for the arp patterns, I've thought it ever since the first person complained about it and maybe even wrote it on here somewhere that too many people expect an easy musical fix out of electronic hardware. With the KPro, people want a "pro" sound without having to do any "pro" work. I think the gate arp slider system is much more professional and flexible, but it does take a lot more work to get good results.

yeah my thoughts exactly: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... 799#328799

But it would be nice to have arp changes get recorded like motion patterns and have those patterns stored for later use...

That is true, it would have been nice to be able to save the arp slider's movements, so to speak, as a custom arp pattern.

I think this is another reason why looping of the internal sound engine should have been a MIDI-based system and left only the looping of external audio to be recorded as audio.
