I would swear that is started on sound L000 when I turned the power on when it was new. I had it set to A040 a lot and then one day I noticed it starts there at power on. Am I just remembering this wrong and they all start on A040, or did I hit some button combination to set it there?

Does anyone know how to change the initial sound at power on?

How do you restore the factory defaults? I found how to do it on the Kaossilator, but not for the Pro.

You can save the program, scale, note and key range to any particular program memory button (one to eight) and saving a particular setting to memory button one will mean that it is the default setting when you turn the machine on... I think.

Set the K-Pro settings to those you want on start-up, press the write button and then program memory button one.

I think the factory defaults for program memory button one are as follows, but I could be wrong...

Program: L000
Scale: Ion
Note: C
Key range: Pro9

Thank you! I set button 1 back to L000 and it starts up that way when I turn the power on. I must have just been playing with it a couple months back and hit the combination to save it to button 1 while A040 was selected. I appreciate the help.
