almost all the sounds are from the oasys. the lead is brass U-C 102 trumpetscape. the rhythm, bass and synths are modified sounds and karma ge's from dreaming without sleeping. i also used maschine for single samples and protools 9.

On your comment about war, personally, i also feel very sad to see people killing each other all the time. some of them fight for survival, some fight for convictions, some fight for greed and some fight for amusement! it can only be a distant fantasy an existence of a world without war. nevertheless if that does ever happen, it will be heaven on earth if there is such a thing.

Don't know mate, I kind of have high hope that I will see a world without war in my life time. I've been following a few developments in free energy and there's two technologies that could very quickly change the world as we know it. Here's one.

Thanks for the link to the video it looks like a fascinating endeavor and I will try to stay abreast of it's development.

Unfortunately for those of us who suffer with hearing impairment (like me), whoever produced that video had no clue about use of a microphone and how to control levels so they are not jumping from whispers to distortion. As a minimum, you at least need to coach the "talent" not to whisper if you are really trying to COMMUNICATE something to the world.

In short, I was only able to decipher about 3 words out of 10 and did not get the understanding of what the 3 subjects were saying. All I got was the text!

That's what happens when you give Johnny or Susie a camcorder and zero knowledge on how to best make a decent production. As they say: "there ought to be a law".

I don't know who Steorn is, but they certainly do not inspire confidence in me because they can't even make a balanced and audible audio track. I certainly wouldn't put something out there that was such poor quality, even with my hearing impairment. Do they really want to broadcast their ineptitude over the Internet? How the heck are they going to manage to pull off something technical that no one else has figured out yet?

I'm not gonna bet the farm on it just yet.

thanks mike for your comment. and once again thanks for your tutorial video's. it helped me a lot to get my head around the oasys. i still refer to your video's now and then to get new ideas. but i know i still have a long way to go in terms of using this one instrument to its full potential and making good music!

and of course thanks to stephen kay. karma is such a wonderful concept and there is so much that a musician can do with it to create great music! i have only scratched the surface of the possibilities it can offer. i hope to work more and learn each single day.

Sharp - that is bogus science. I saw this years ago on documentaries and it's gone nowhere. I wish it were true but alas it's not looking that way. there's surely some strange effect going on, but it doesn't seem to be leading to free energy despite significant efforts (even in my alma mater University College Dublin where I completed an experimental physics degree and where some consideration was given to these sorts of experiments and even cold fusion at one point!). I'd be only too delighted to stand corrected on this, but I genuinely feel this area is bogus and will not lead to great things.
