Getting Performance dynamics out of the Ribbon...

Hi folks,
Just wanted to ask some opinions on the M3 technique of using the ribbon to imitate Guitar strumming
It sounds very impressive on this here video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttFi3zBu ... re=related
I'm wondering if a similar technique can be applied to the 'bowing' of a string sound?
Its like a string section playing a chord with slow bowing movements but these increase and decrease with frequency, for expressive and cresendo purposes.
I think the musical term is accentato - as applied to strings, not sure...
Its hard to describe - can't think of an immediate example - its like the strings are hanging around a chord waiting...
You can hear the individual 'rasps' of some of the individual stringed instruments as they 'wait'...
I imagine basic programming of such a sound would involve a combination of different timbred string patches -
all triggered with a bowing action via the ribbon...
And some Karma input i imagine....
Any thoughts?
I'm also interested in the general use of the ribbon, ala the guitar strumming example, for techniques in getting other 'playing' dynamics out of other instruments
or is it generally more suited to only the guitar strumming example?
Peace
Ausser
