patterns for the right kit

Post by rbalaa »

Hello,

I'm just wondering what is the correct way to know the pattern/kit combination. So far if I see a pattern with '[ROCK]' in it, I just look for a kit with 'ROCK' in it. It works, I'm just wondering is the best way to know which kit that pattern is meant for ? Or is it meant for numerous kits ?

A question along the same lines is is there anywhere where the patterns/beats are somewhat categorized ? I migh tbe stepping onto arranger territory here :)

What do you guys usually work with Drum patterns or Karma patterns/beats ?
