how many of you split your keyboard?

I find that I hardly every split the keyboard. Because I play piano, i want to play it like a piano and let the rest of the ACC tracks be the band. So maybe I should make this a poll question. I wanted to get a bit more discussion about why people use split or play it like a piano.
Then that asks what chord recognition format does everyone use.
Last of all.. I don't like the default "no style" that comes up when I start the keyboard up. How do I save my preferred default startup style? thanks a lot.

Hi
at first. I like your YT-playing a lot.
Here your last question:
Last of all.. I don't like the default "no style" that comes up when I start the keyboard up. How do I save my preferred default startup style? thanks a lot.
My answer:
Start your key and keep the style-change-led OFF !!!
Select your preferred default startup-style.
Now select the first performance in the first piano-bank.
Now set the style-change-led to ON !!!
Now open the display menue and select "save performance" and save to the first piano bank on the first place.
This is your startup-performance which will load in the future your special style after startup.
You can do this with each performance, but only the 1.1 Performance will load overall-settings and only this performance can ignore (and only during starting) the locks.
Here an example how to use a splitt-setting.

I mostly use expert or fingered 3 chord recognition.

danke schoen.. es gibt eine wunderschoen lied.... "the good the bad and the ugly" WOW ... you should pump your youtube channel more. Its really good craftsmanship. I put a lot of rough drafts up there. Awful. Thanks for the help on how to set my keyboard to my best style. Also... I might one of these days switch out of this little PA500. Anymore I'm only buying professional arrangers. I have a Karma, Extreme, Novation and a copule of Yamahas. But the professional arrangers really have the options.
thanks for sharing your song and your channel. I'll check the rest of them out.
du Heisst Lim? es scheint wie orientalischer Name.
Ich war drei Tagen in Berlin, aber zweimal in Polen. Vier Monaten zwiemal.

thanks a lot

Nedim, as stupid as it sounds... I saw a band with a guy, who had literally split his oasys apart. This is no joke. He had the 2 parts in front of him like a V-shape. One to the left and the other to his right. In the centre between all the parts, he had some sort of a MIDI trigger/pads. I think it was the novation LaunchPad. As well as the oasys screen, still attached to the top of his keyboard stand, with the ribbon umbilical cable still attached to the right side of his oasys. Wish i had taken photos of it, but, i was pretty written off that evening.

I've seen something similar to it, you'll be amazed at what people actually
do and come up with doing with synths, all kinds of combinations...ugh...

Logical progression, I suppose. Back in the day we all chopped our Hammonds, didn't we? Keyboard players, a brutal lot.
