****True .Existing gear ( M3 )still works great .I'm hoping the mind blowing aspect of what ever they come out with has Flash Memory..loading time and having to load samples each and everytime I turn on the M3 is starting to get little annoying already..I just can't beleive korg would not respond to Yamaha XF with that amazing and incredibly useful option...X-Trade wrote:I still think it is too early for something 'mind blowing'. Yes, they probably are working on something, that would only make sense, but I doubt we'll see it this year or the start of next year.
All this is just educated guesswork though.
Anyway, just because Korg hasn't released anything new, doesn't mean that your existing gear suddenly stops working. Too many people sit around chasing the 'next best thing' without even really spending the time to get to know what they've already got.

The Motif has a couple of commercial 80's sound libraries, and Final Countdown is on the list. It's not a bad sound library and every patch on there is at least close enough you can tell what the sound is they were going for but some aren't close enough to fool anybody that you actually have the sound nailed. Final Countdown is a good example. The brass is kinda close but the chords behind it aren't close at all. But for the lazy, it's an easy way to get sounds. I wish there were more companies/people selling these libraries, so those of us who play a lot of covers could spend hours actually playing our synths instead of programming sounds
