I've hardly ever used my triton as i managed to get oasys just after buying T and so don't know if there is something that I am missing.

triton xt88 and oasys
are triton and oasys both totally different instruments or can oasys itself produce triton sounds that i can sell my triton without missing much

In a similar situation here also as eventually I plan to sell the Two remaining Tritons I own, simply because of a few factors.
1.Its perfectly feasible to replicate many of the sounds within Oasys although it means manually copying the parameters which is time consuming and whilst they are not totally compatible directly because of obvious Engine discrepancies and different PCM data but you can sample the PCM data from the Triton thats not inside Oasys, and replicate the sounds like that,If you intend to copy sounds over you'll need to do this before selling the Triton(Wish someone would make a Software editor/Convertor prog to do this like there was for the Trinity/Triton!!!!!
2.I mainly used Triton combi sounds which on the Oasys now have 16 timbres per sound,so am able to essentially create 2 Triton Combis inside a single patch and have far more flexibility for Live playing with the Karma Module,For me the Dual arpeggios weren't flexible enough and never offered anything other than the ability to create your own arps, which you may as well edit midi data within a sequencer if your having to do this anyway, there's only so much dual arps can do Live, even with your own patterns.
A few years ago I would have pledged an alliance to the Triton line, given I had 4 at one time and they were my main gig platform and sound source, but the two remaining Tritons(Rack and Extreme) rarely get switched on these days plus Theres no real need for a crossover between the Rompler Sounds now anymore since transferring many Triton sounds,I tend to use the Oasys more and more,if your already having thoughts about selling the Triton, then your possibly Seeing similarities between them and wondering if the Triton really stands up with it.
I wouldn't say the Oasys blows the Triton away but it makes most of its features redundant that if you can do without them is not really worth keeping and the cash raised selling the Triton could go towards something more complimentary for the Oasys.
Extreme's are still quite desirable irrespective of the Triton line being abundant in various filtered down flavours...so you may still break even(or maybe make a little profit) for what you originally paid for it secondhand if it was only a short while ago.Extreme models still fetch a tidy sum over and above the Classic and studio models.
