ozy
there is a guy in the old "kronos" thread who sounds knowledgeable (he added details about the specifications)
and is talkin of a "starting price" (should mean 61 keys) of
2500 gbp (which means 3000 euros and NOMINAL 4000 us$, but more likely 3000 US$ due to lower taxes and more aggressive retailers)
That for the 61.
I asked the guy for confirmation that it is a serious info.

Hehe - then welcome to the Oasys-Club!ozy wrote:and I'll finally buy it (Oasys, I mean)RC-IA wrote:info about price is serious. now we should find oasys at 2000 euros !!!
My first thought was: looks like a remake of the Oasys - similar design and layout. BTW synthgear wrote "NOD 7" - I suppose they ment "MOD 7"?

I guess it depends where they are at with it. For example when they released the Oasys a NAMM in 2005 it wasnt available in the states till June I think...it was available in August for Australians.
They will let you know at NAMM tomorrow when it will be available

Where do you see anything said about DAW integration?Sina172 wrote: I do. DAW Integration that the OASYS lacks? KARMA 3.0? The Sequencer updates and improvements that made its way to the M3 and now the KRONOS? The Drum Track feature? The possibility of an on-board GE Editor? The two NEW Synth Engines that the OASYS does NOT have?
Sina
Where does it specifically say that SEQ is updated?
Where do you see anything said that there will be a GE editor? And, to that point, how many times does it take you to realize that you'll never get that because it's impractical, unusable and too complicated to do that for a synth screen?
BTW, those two synth engines are a no-excitement to those who already own an OASYS because they're either happy with what they have, or have "managed to be happy otherwise". And I do hope they'll sound great

Exactly my point. Sina is always dreaming something, but never checks all the details first.meatballfulton wrote: Rough translation job but I saw mention of a 2x2 USB audio interface. By itself that's not real DAW integration ala Motif, we'll have to wait a few more days to get the whole story.
And yeah, real DAW integration is something much more then that
