The Motif XF and Karma demo...

These two are a match made in heaven I reckon....

I cannot find any links, but Yamaha still have it listed on the website....

So I hope it's still going to happen....

Hi is NOT Karma in the Motif - it is Stephen Kay's Karma Software only, that will indeed provide full Karma capabilities for the Morif - but - not on the Motif, as in, you cannot use Motif controllers to manage the Karma engine; rather, the Karma software on your computer manages the Motif synthesizer engine.

So this is equivalent to the Karma software release for the Triton, only a later release.

Thanks Kevin,

I had heard differently...That Karma will run on the Motif directly in MULTI mode (16 part operations).

Then when the Motif is switched to Remote mode, the Motif hardware controllers become in fact, Karma controllers.

That is true Denis, what Kevin meant probably is that you wont have KARMA
integrated as on the M3 or Chronos but you will be able to control it from XF.

I Love these video demos made at Music shows......One day I'm hoping someone posts a video where the person demoing will stand up with a megaphone and turn around to the rest of the stalls and shout "Will you lot shut the F**k up I'm trying to film here".

Well Yamaha certainly doesn't realise that a bad impression like that ruins much of the fun.....

They should have made at least a decent preproduced video to put online so the first meeting from people with Karma for Yama would be a p[ossitive one... and not one cluttered by the background noice.

I allmst feel sorry for Steven Kay, he deserves better then this.
