open architecture in another keyboard?

there was a thread in kronos where someone said oasys itself was based on this technology although this model is a fairly newer version of their keyboard/organ.

i felt that it looks remarkably similar to oasys and kronos. any comments?

I have not seen such an unprofessional website for quite a while. Hope their instruments are more up to date.

Kool! It's a Prophet 10 with Taurus pedals! Oh wait... no it isn't. The Neko's are still out there and open systems but they were runnign windows XP last I checked. I thikn an open system is pretty impossible these days with advances in technology. Even with computers there is constant upgarding a G Series Mac with a ton of VI's and a PCI ProTools HD PCI cards were as good as it got not too long ago. now they've gone PCIe and with the advent of 64 bit systems the world of super RAM has been opened up. Whatever rig you get, computer or hardware it seems like in a few years there will be somethign newer and better out there... Unless buying an ARP 2600 is you thinng  But vintage synths have their own issues as well. I wouldn't bother investing in somethign because it's "future proof" especially fomr a smaller unknown company. But if it has a monster sound and crazy features, well... give it a whirl; not because it's future proof but because it's got a great sound.
