Hello,

I have been waiting years for this so I really hope that is is included in this virtual sound engineer.

Simply, just to allow virtual sound engineer to lower the upper channels when singing on microphone.

For professional studio people this is known as 'ducking' effect. Very useful live, so you can just sign and paly without to have to think about levels etc.

Is this finally possible in this Korg Pa3X edition?

Regards.

Interesting...but would everyone always want that? It could be a menu option or a panel switch too.

I hope you get it...but I'm doubtful.

I wonder now that there's 8 FX channels, we'd be able to use side-chain compressors for creating styles?

Hello,

I saw that Korg PA3xLe is out. OK, any info that this function (side-chain compressors for ducking) has finally been enabled in Korg PA3xLe?

Regards.

TBH, I often feel the reverse is what's really needed!

I hear altogether too many user tracks where the lead (whether vocal or instrumental) ends up swamping the backing. Something that would listen to the lead, and RAISE the backing as the performer got friskier would be a great help!

I mean, that's pretty much what REAL bands do..!

Well, whatever, that is happening because there is no mixing option to 'automatically' set backing vs lead levels. I agree that people have different preferences when it comes to live sound.

But, why don't give the 'power to the (korg) people' to set this by their own taste - and forget about up and down volume sliders :) And just enjoy playing their arrangers :))

Cheers.
