Houston we have a problem.....Gate Arp Switch Issue

Please tell me to RTFM......

When using my K Pro I can switch between speed and Time it will get stuck in speed mode and not let me go back to Time mode even if I switch the back switch. It will show the Time values but plays the speed notes.

If I turn the unit off/on it will correct until I switch to speed and back to time again.

Any ideas my Kaotic friends?

Ok so I think I get it now. Whatever value you have in the speed variable at the time of cutting over will have a direct impact on you new 'time' slider values.

Is this the case for others? I don't see this explained in the manual. So it appears for example if I want to get back to the startup 'time' setting I have to make sure that if I switch to speed that I have the slider at the speed value of .25. If I change it to something else it will impact the slider values.

I'm sure there is some beat math going on here but it's too late and I'm too damn tired. I was almost in tears thinking about having to send it back. But I think it's ok.......

let me know if your K Pro behaves in the same manner.

this is pretty much how it works...It's a good feature over all. You should be good to go.

Thanks for the verification SMK! Hey I checked out your music on the myspace. Were those made soley with Kaoss or using a mix of other instruments?

Oh thanks for checking that stuff out!

Those were all made by playing a fretless guitar. Anything that sounded like a beat or a synth was actually my fretless.

The effects I used were a Boss GT-6 a DD-20 RC-20 and then an alisis air effects and a custom modded KP2.

In one of the more quite songs I limited my self to Pandora PX4 DD-20 and the KP2.

These are all older tracks so as the years went by I was slowly replacing Boss Gear with Korg gear.

My current set-up for my guitar includes 2 KP2's (1 of which is the modded KP2), 1 KP3, 1 KO Pro, an AX30000, a Pandora 5. Other Korg stuff includes my DS-10, the miniKP and the Monotron
