Akos, I did read some time ago your replacement procedures from your webpage.
Thats why I'm also wondering why you're asking about this, when you already know the correct way to fix this?
Its better to ask a technician, than to ask Dan, because these sliders&switches weren't invented by Dan, but by engineers a long time ago.....
Its like asking a dentist how to repair my car(?)

Hedegaard, please scroll few posts up and find my downloadable PDF.
Dan read it and advised to *clean* the switches first instead.
Of course, I like the idea so I ask *him* about the details: from what dirt and how.

I'd ask your technician; if the tech asked me, I'd suggest standard electrical contact cleaner.
Best regards,
Dan

...Korg cares about my money for sure...just in a different way.
new Kronos retails at $4300 for the 76k. I was selling my O-76 fro $4200 and someone said it was overpriced.

"Overpriced"???

I've seen the ad, it comes with all options loaded plus 2 Karo libraries. In perfect condition.
Keep it if you can and sell 5-10 years later.

So you think its a reasonable price? Thats what I thought...but obviously the Kronos will be around the same price so...idk.
haha I wish I could keep it...don't got a place to put it.

Still hoping that Korg will eventually come out with some sort of upgrade option. Perhaps if Kronos sales are good they might decided to do something. Its unlikely to happen, but one has to live in hope.
I know what you mean about space though. The OASYS is not exactly small. But perhaps you can put it in a cupboard somewhere, or under the bed and just have some long midi and audio cables so you can use it like a sound module
Joking aside though, it is very disappointing that it has dropped so much in value and personally I think Korg have shafted us good and proper. So if you can think of any way to keep it then do so, or think twice as to whether you really want to "upgrade" to a Kronos as OASYS can still do most of what the Kronos can, and if Korg could treat us OASYS users this way then they will more than likely do the same to those who buy the Kronos. But then its only business to them, and nothing personal I guess.
