yeah...i have been salivating for a table-top touch controlled effects unit along these lines...but for the price i would really like more than 20 effects and definitely some midi

The miniKP has 89 effects (some are combi), 10 synth parts, and even 2 presets! I know that the possibilities for more effects links are available on the Quad, but they definitely should've included more than 20

and maybe some synth in there too ala KPRO!

Really nice effects here. I don't need the sampler. The only thing that bothers me is that there's no midi. If you play live with a complex song structure and different tempos within that song i think it's pretty annoying to tap all the time.

it goes in the toy line with the mini's and monotron, no MIDI and no USB makes no sense for a pro/semi pro device, too bad, it would have looked killer in my rig

I'm still hanging on to my money. Denkitribe or no Denkitribe. I have a pair of KP2 which are fully programmable to what ever effect. When I can afford it the Quad will be a buy, but for right now my rig is pretty stable.

I don't want it. Especially since it comes without midi. I still believe the original KP and the KP3 are my favorites.
