Hi
I just got a kp3 yesterday so I'm really new to this. My question is... Is it possible to hear a click sound when sampling? I'm a drummer and and when I'm sampling a loop that I'm playing its hard to rely only on the led thats indicating the tempo.
Thanks!

Shahaziza,

No click track but I do know that some create click tracks or you can use the built in patterns to act as a click track even if you just add them temporarily and then write over them.

Thanks. But how can I create a click track within the kp3? or did you meant recording from an outside source a pattern or click?

Set sample length to 1 beat, sample a click, let it loop

Now you have a click playing at the current tempo - but it costs you the use of a sample bank.

Sounds great and easy. so it only means that one of the for sample bank is occupied with a click.

Be careful, because your metronome clicks will be recorded (if played) when you sample or resample.

I see. So it doesn't really helps me. So if I have a click loop on bank A andi sample another loop on bank B it will record it with the click?

only if you resample - it you just sample the RCA inputs it doesn't record anything playing on the other banks
