In case anyone's interested:

Interested to see how much it's going for - the write-up sounds like the same guy I bought my 88 from 3 years ago, who sold it to me after seeing a post on here as he was off abroad.

It dosen't look like a scam, because the seller is willing to take photos.
Your description is quite good also.
I would add more photos (yes I know eBay requires you to pay for extra photos, but its just a few cents)
Also close up photos so the potential buyer dosent see scratches on it either.
For the asking price, he should offer to drive more than just 1 hours distance, I'd have offered 3 hours driving time for personal delivery.

If anyone's interested, it didn't sell at the asking price - zero bids.

Indeed!
You see, mobile phone cameras have a lot to answer for. Their picture quality is generally crap (can I say that here?) but they are toooo convenient.
I sold a bunch of kit a few years back and in my opinion I got bids that were well over the odds. Instead of using a rubbish camera, I took several shots, including close ups, using a half decent Nikon DSLR.
Look at my TB303 :

This is the 'money shot' ! I got something like £1300 for it ! (I wasn't prepared for how much Paypal would take off me though

)
And you don't need to spend a fortune on a camera.

This one, I took with a sub £100 Pentax years ago.
(yes, I like uploading to Wikipedia!)
If you want to sell something that's 'expensive' on Ebay, spend some time on the listing - it'll make you more ££$$€€ !
