And there is no reason for me to talk about it, most of you already
know what those are and what they do, this is a good chance to get
some, true 75% off, i have most of them.

Definitely a good deal. I don't think they ever had them for this low. The latest version of Play works much better. Also, the symphonic choir and word builder is now one plug-in, so you don't have to do crazy midi setups to get the program to work anymore.

Yes I do know about that thread, but it was all supposition and "I thinks", there was no definitive yes or no.....

I am not going to drop $'s on software until there is a definitive YES from the Linux Kubuntu developers, or from WINE... Not an "I think" from Domenico. No offence to Dom :)

EastWest appears to have sales every month now.

Wait a few months and you can get anything cheaper.

Incorrect post - retracted.

We have tested iLok and it does not work because there is no Linux device driver available. I contacted both EastWest and Pace and they were very helpful explaining the various issues and they wanted to help me. However the development cost estimate exceeds $50k and I can not afford to spend that right now.

So users of EastWest sounds will need to stay with a Windows or Mac solution at least for the next year I am afraid.

I will revisit the decision about spending $50k after we have sold the first 2000 Groove XR units.

Best regards,
Rob

Good news Rob...

Is that fix only under the WINE app, or native to the 64Studio Kubuntu and/or the OS itself?

Play 3 will be released in few months. Most of the older bugs are fixed now.

I use win7 64bit, and Cubase 32 bit, so for those plugins I will need to use cubase64bit?? Is it true?
