Ah, but all you Irish get the benefit of unlimited free electric power from the Steorn Orbo, so it all works out in the end, right?

Yes, it's a bit annoying - better to say it was when I first saw a contest like this. Today I'm already fine with it - I simply scroll down. :-)

But I don't care now - and it's not the "sour grapes attitude" - 'cause the SP170 is not good enough IMHO. First I liked the specs, the idea of simplicity, then I tried it with confidence - but it was disappointing.

The ad says: "the finest piano sound and most realistic piano touch available in its price range". For me it translates as: "it's cheap, you can't get better for this price" - and while it can be true it doesn't confirm that the piano is good. I think it's better to buy a bit more expensive but usable instrument, an LP350 for example.

I may be wrong, but this is my experience.

I have added a disclaimer to the first post, mentioning that the contest is open to USA residents only. I apologize for any confusion.

Thanks Rich,

Although not really necessary, it is apprecitaed :)

We know out here, that any comps or give-aways are only really for the country they are announced in. See it all the time in things like Sound On Sound mag, and Keyboard, pommy eletronic music mags etc etc, and on websites, so no biggie.

But again, thanks for the sentiment :)

Dennis
