Hi,
I bought my son a nanokey and downloaded M1LE - even this was a pain and me with a programming degree! lol
Anyhow, how can I record a sound from the controller with M1le?
The manual is heavy for my son who's 11...all he needs is a basic sound file like a .wav to add in a video he's making at school...
Simple to explain...but can't find how to do this..

Thanks!

I don't know how deep your knowledge of creating digital music is and I am not quite shure if I understood your problem right,
so I try to keep it simple:

Method1:
- Start an audio-recording program like cool edit and start recording the soundcards-mixer-sum. Play your M1LE on your nanokey.
Stop the recording and save the recorded data to a wave-file to disk.

Method2:
- You need to install a digital audio workstation (DAW) like ableton live.
- There you add the M1LE as a VST-Instrument to a midi-track.
- You record your playing (in the arrange-view) on the nanokey as a midi-clip.
- If you like add and record more tracks.
- Set the song-start and song-end-markers in the arrange-view.
- Render your song as a wave-file to harddisc (In the File-menu).

Did I get you right?
