I am thinking making my composiing more interactive, by buying a KP3 (I'm new to it) and an express audiocard with sufficient number of ins and outs. Can this setup do?

Can this set up do what? You didn't finish your question. Can it do backflips? No. Can it do the dishes? I wish

Just so you know, the KP3 is an effects processor and sampler. The Kaossilator Pro is it's synth brother. Both fun and will provide some interaction. Not sure the rest of your setup\gear, so it's hard to tell if this will be the right fit for what you are trying to do.

I meant if it is technically possible to connect the device to the audiocard, and to use it effectively in ableton. By effectively I mean flawlessly.
