They can't stand even hearing somebody talking about it

Hi Rob.
Looks like Domencio has actually upgraded his keyboard already. Very curious that...!!! Nedim is then unfortunately not running our OS, our content, or anything belonging to us. So.. support ? Err... it's directly with Lionstracs.
How I know is that the girl on the bootup sequence was made by me and she's only in OS4.5, so Domenico must have upgraded his M/S because it wouldn't run that OS otherwise.
Regards
James

Hi Nedim.
When you connect a Midi USB device to the Mediastation, it will be displayed in JACK by name.
Just touch the name of the device you connected, and touch the name of the Engine (Linux sampler, VSTi's and so on) you want the midi device to work with. Then press Connect.
You will see the connection being made on the screen by little virtual wires like a patch bay appear and connecting the controller to the engine you selected.
As for the latency, I can tell you how to change too but..... this is KORG Forums, so lets move over to Corcyra Global forums..... I don't mind people talking about the keyboard or rack on this forum, but I can't let this forum be used for tech support as it could spread and become an issue.
Regards
Sharp.

Good point, yes it must have the newer video card. My bad. Anyway, let's all move this discussion over to the user forum at corcyraglobal.com, otherwise you'll have to beat yourself up ... and the rest of us as wellSharp wrote:Hi Rob.

Hello Rob Sherratt
I have just a quick question, is this possible to try in store some were in Calgary (Canada) this keyboard ?
Also do u work with the biggest reteil usic shop in Canada like Long and Maquade, why i am asking because usualy I cannot pay at full for music stuff I am buying but I have very good finansial options there so I can get almost anything right away and but with a resonable cost unlike in other music stores...
p.s.Can I use sequencer Ableton Live in this machine and also I can I load my own VST to this keyboard from VSL, HAuptwerk and so on, because as I know thay are intended to work on Windows or Mac, will thay work with this keyboard which is Lynux based?
Thank U

Hello, thanks again guys, i will try tonight.
Rob, this is probably the MOST advanced Liontracs product out there,
not even the Groove Extreme is comparable to this, this is way ahead,
6 Cores, 16GB RAM, new Video Card, New MotherBoard, nothing is from
factory and also it is updated to the latest OS...i just have to figure my
way out, as i usually do, lol...
James, it was weird, nothing was happening when i connected, i will try
Jack again and see whats in there.
And as James said, everything is still under Liontracs, i have nothing of James's.
Thanks

But it is STILL using only the 5 pin MIDI in/outs on the MS AFG.
You cannot connect a standalone USB interface, for example Edirol UM1-SX to the MS USB device port and use it. It doesn't work. Well it didn't on OS 4.5
Nedim was wanting to use (if I read what he wrote correctly) a USB midi interface connected to the MS USB port....NOT the standard MIDI ports.

Hi Dennis.
I have an AKAI Controller connected to the Mediastation by USB only under OS4.5 and it works perfectly. I don't even have to plug the AKAI Controller into a wall socket. The USB port of the Mediastation powers the unit across a single USB cable.
There's a video of the X-R doing this under OS 5.0 HERE

Sharp.

okay, cool James...maybe it was just the UM1 then??? I know I had it connected and JACK would not allow me to use it for either in or out....
In that case Nedim, forget all that I said
I would assume your MS has the latest OS, so looks like it DOES work.
James would be the best source I could think of
