OASYS Unresponsive touchscreen

I've had my OASYS since Nov 07 and today the touchscreen just stopped working. No response at all when I touch the screen. The O has never been moved from my studio nor has it been overly used or abused in the time I've had it. This happened before about a year ago and I fixed it by pressing enter and 0 while it boots up. Now even that doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is this some kind of somewhat well known procedure or is it some random thing you tried that just happened to work?

I got the advice from another forum and it's supposed to restore the Oasys default settings... I don't know if I'm missing something

..try to ''reinitialize'' your O with software that can be download from Korg user net. See what happen's next...

Also don't be afraid to call your Country Korg Distributor. Part of their job is to provide technical support.
They should be able to either give you some instructions to test, or be able to tell you if the unit needs to be sent in for repair.

This sounds like it would be a hardware problem; my guess is that the previous "fix" was a coincidence. Please contact your national Korg distributor (see my signature), and I'm sure they'll be able to help.
Best regards,
