Don't worry, I get the point all right ](*,)

This is a petition for people to add their names in agreement to Korg supplying codes to make sound engines available without payment. Petitions do not normally make allowance for an alternative opinion.

I agree...the options should be given away. I understand that those who paid for it might feel slighted but no more so than someone who buys an iPhone only to see it depreciate as they see another newer iPhone roll out a few months later.

That said, I couldn't care less if KORG gives the add-on synths away for the OASYS. If I wanted them enough, I'd have already bought them. What I really want is:

1. ...to sell my OASYS for more than 35% of what I paid for it. I've never seen a keyboard (or anything for that matter) depreciate so far so fast...

2. ...for KORG to resume support for the OASYS. For an "Open Architecture" synth, it's open support was discontinued...hmm...I'd say...about 10 years too soon.

3. ...a KRONOS simply because it's smaller. But I'm too sickened over the fact that I could buy two (almost three) of them for what I paid for my OASYS. Talk about buyer's remorse.

To prove your first point - here's an O-88 for sale at £2,000 (buy it now price!).

Absolutely unbelievable.

I guess it is time to say: CLOSE THIS THREAD MODS!!!

Again, most sincere gratitude to KORG, Mr. Seiki Kato and the whole KORG team.

Asking for a refund on your bought modules is stupid...
You had the advantage to use these engines already much longer than anybody who did not buy them would have been able to do so...
It´s not unfair at all even if these engines are released on the Kronos for free, since this does not affect Oasys users at all.

 Sometimes, I really have to wonder, what is there in peoples heads... Nothing but jealousy...

Thanks so much for your positive and polite contribution.

And for the record, I don't think you'll find many OASYS owners jealous of the Kronos - the OASYS keybeds (76 and 88 ) work flawlessly for a start ;)
