Still sounds fishy. So you opened up a new thread, typed "opened in error" and hit submit? Odd :?

Suspect that as worth has over 600 posts he knows what he's doing and having typed something else, then came back and edited it once we he realised it was in error.

None of us have the power to delete a new thread even although we created it!

Wrong, if you edit a post it says when said post was edited at the bottom.

No, not wrong! It only shows it has been edited if someone else has posted after your first post. If you edit before someone else posts it doesn't show as being edited. Same if you are the 50th reply in a topic - if you edit it before the 51st post is made, then the 50th doesn't show as being edited. Edit the 50th post after the 51st post is made, then it shows as being edited.

So what worth did was:

1. Clicked on new topic
2. typed something
3. posted/submitted it
4. Read it live on the boards and decided for whatever reason it was in error
5. BEFORE someone posted a reply, worth edited it to read 'opened in error' because it couldn't be deleted as it was first post in a thread worth opened
6. Everyone else chimed in!

As proof and edited to say- I've edited this post 4 times and it doesn't show as being edited, does it?! :)

oh come on. Have you guys been eating raw meat all day ??? there is no story to this ha ha !! No need to look for contention. I opened the thread in error as i wanted to reply to Nedims thread about the difficulties he was having with his new keyboard.

Me and Nedim go way back. there is nothing i would post on here that i would need to delete concerning him as we are cool. It happened just like Cello said but i did not think it needed an explanation as there was really nothing to it.
Now gentlemen lets not waste anymore of Sharps bandwidth on this nonsense thread :-)
