Oasys Assault question ( for Sharp )
I bought Oasys Assault a couple of years ago for use on my O76, and have just bought a new PA3X. Is there any way using some of the Assault samples in the PA3X ? ( without phyiscally recording every note )

Hi Steve.
Yes, it's highly likely as the Pa3X can read kmp/ksf format.
I'm not sure of the steps you need to take but here's a push in the right direction.
In sound mode on lower Pa Series keyboards, if you pressed the Record button that's to the left of the screen, you can enter the Sampling Mode. Once there, go to the MultiSample Page and touch the tab in the top right of the screen. There should be an Import option in there that will allow you to select the KMP files of OASYS ASSAULT.
Load one of those and the entire MultiSample is loaded in one go.
I”m not sure if the Pa3X supports stereo multisamples, so you might see -L and -R tags on the KMP files. If you do, then you will need to import both the L and R to get the stereo multisamples to work when assigned to a program.
