Me and my now wife when we were kids.....

Post by Sharp »

Not OASYS released, but as an OASYS user I don't know why, but it seems the place to post this.

Here's one of those embarrassing moment..... A video of Christine and I when we were kids, not even dating let alone husband and wife. You have to bear in mind that back in those days all you would hear in an Irish Pub was ballad music, so while all this sounds so freaking dated now, at the time it was ahead of its time.

I must be only 17 in this video. ..lol...

Sharp, that was really cool! I liked the sounds (and that synth drone bass?) that you were conjuring.

The closest connection my wife and I have (outside of our kids) is when she acts in something that I direct. It's a special feeling of doing something creative, together.

Know exactly what you mean there Mike. My wife (the real cellist!) and I work on music together where I compose/arrange, put the track together and she (in her words!) "puts the magic dust on top"!

In all fairness, it's great to see creativity like that.

My wife is tone-deaf!! However my 2 kids are VERY musical, so I see some interesting things in the next few years

Sharp, you look so young!!

I assume that was some type of arranger keyboard?

Top keyboard is a KORG 01W/FD and the bottom is a an Arranger, a Technics KN800.

At that point in my life I was in the process of moving from Arrangers to Workstations so our progarm was 50% Arranger and 50% Workstation at the time.
