Adding 'analogue warmth' to an OASYS-only mix?

Post by Kevin Nolan »

I realise OASYS/Kronos do not have an analogue tape saturation emulation/plugin; so how best could one add 'a touch of analogue warmth' to a final mix on the OASYS.

I haven't tried this yet but was browsing the Parameter Guide Effects section this morning and a few options might exist - Tube Pre-amp emulation, exciter / enhancre, compressor, chorus/ensemble; all added in minute amounts might do it.

So - any expert guidance on this would be very welcome. In essence - I want a nice combination of effects as master effects, in the right order, to add a bit of analogue warmth and overall 'classic finesse' to an OASYS-only mix.

Cheers,
Kevin.
