Advancing Combinations while sustaining?

Post by jmmusic »

Is there any way to sustain a combination patch while advancing to a new combination patch? I've used Kurzweil's in the past and its been no problem. Is it possible on Tritons? Thanks!

Unfortunately, no. Korg corrected this with the Kronos, however.
Depending on the effect configuration, though, you may be able to load 2 combinations into the sequencer with their configurations in tact and switch back and forth via the MIDI channel/track parameter. The effects would have to be either minimal for each combi or identical if using all or most of the available IFX/MFX slots.
Hope this helps. Cheers!

Look at http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=63416

It's for the M50 but I think it can be done too on a TEX.
