Message to OASYS ASSAULT users.

Post by Sharp »

Hi all.
Just a quick note to say that an email has just gone out to all OASYS ASSAULT users giving you free access to download KRONOS ASSAULT.

KRONOS ASSAULT contains all the sound of OASYS ASSAULT, except for the Piano content. Where the piano sounds were located, I've replaced them with new sounds.

The amount of free memory required is also down from 1.5GB to 845MB of RAM.

If you are not a KRONOS user, you can still make use of this download. Just use the OASYS.PCG file when loading the data.

Kind Regards
Sharp.

Excellent - downloading now and looking forward to installing the O version! =D>

Many thanks for thinking of us, previous customers and increasingly unsupported O users, when other library developers appear to be pulling up the drawbridge... :(

Hi Sharp - think I'm having an issue with the O .pcg

For some reason when I select load pcg I'm not getting the usual options of loading the ksc and kge files as well - the check boxes are greyed out.

So on load, the bank U-A is occupied with the sound names but hardly any sound at all and other sounds just use the samples already loaded.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Any help appreciated!

Hi cello.

You have two options here.

1: Load the OASYS.PCG file, and then load the ASSAULT.KSC file.

or.....

2: Rename ASSAULT.PCG to KRONOS.PCG
Rename OASYS.PCG to ASSAULT.PCG.
Now the option to tick the KSC box will be available and you can load the data as normal.

Regards
Sharp.

Appreciate the quick reply Sharp

Did option 1 first and that did the trick - apologies if I caused any alarm!

Had this O beastie over a year now and am still learning

(loving the new sounds BTW :D )
