Hi Guys,
I'm currently using a Triton Extreme (and Kurzweil PC3x too), and of course the new Kronos has me excited! I've played a 61 note version (the others aren't due in Australia until September) and was blown away by some of the sounds - not least the pianos...
However, I also felt there was a drop in build quality, with the metal end panels of the M3 making way for plastic end panels, and a general sense of the whole thing being built to a price.
I have seen a 73 note Oasys on eBay, hardly used and at a good price.
The only reason I'm really reluctant to go with that rather than the Kronos is the awesome feature of the Kronos where you can change between Combis and Progs without the sound cutting off.
Does anyone know (either from Korg or current Oasys owners) whether the Oasys OS will be update with this feature?
Cheers and thanks!
Mike
Will Oasys be updated so sounds can change without cutoff?

Hi,
the OASYS will get no future update, it is completely discontinued- hardware- and softwarewise..
See this threat Page 5, Dan´s post:

Apart from this there is only a 76 key Version not 73 for Oasys
best regards
