I couldn't believe it. I moved a while ago. The first time I move d in a lot of years, and my new little studio.. downsized a bit, but compact. But after I've been here a while I try to put some tracks down and NOISE from my PA588. I couldn't believe how loud the buzz and hum and I played with the gain in the mixer and maxed the levels of the PA588 out and still so much noise I would have to change to headbanging to compensate for all the noise. OH NO!!!

Oh! Oops!... TIP: Don't format a 2TB hard drive next to your PA588 if you want a clean audio signal.

Maybe they'll put that in the manual.

That hard drive (connected to a different computer even) was broadcasting some kind of buzz and all the cable changing on my PA588 couldn't make up the difference.

... ...

my two bits.

I had a similar problem with my modem. Everything was recording fine until I decided to move my modem to under my computer desk! Started getting this really annoying hum coming from my pa800 when I recorded. I'm actually struggling to get my modem far enough away. Think I may need to take the modem out of the room.
