Hi!
I recently bought a used Wavestation EX online, and it is working fine, except for some noise. It is some kind of *clicks* and some white noise, and it seems to come from the effects. I think it comes from the effects because when I play a patch with much reverb the white noise is louder, and the clicks seems to be in time with the delay.
Is anyone familiar with this problem, and can it be fixed?

Not that I'm familiar with this problem or with the Wavestations inner life, but just guessing: much reverb = everything that goes into the effect will be louder, clicks synchrnoised = a noise from the oscillator will repeat in sync with the delay.
So, based on your description I don't know whether it is possible to conclude that the problem is indeed in the effects part. Best would be to set effects 'off' and see whether you get any clikcs and noise on the 'raw' oscillator output. If nothing, then adding effects but using a simple waveform for the oscillator (as opposed to a complex wave sequence) might reveal any problem with the effects. Otherwise, it still might be a problem around waveform memory and the oscillator in the context of complex wave sequences.
