i recently got the kaoss pro and was wondering what is the best/ easiest way to record with the pro. anywhere from garage band, pro tools, logic. Ive been importing the loops through the editor, but that takes forever and timing gets difficult. thanks so much

Not sure it this helps, but do you mean like playing something from your computer or mp3 player and recording loops from them?

If this is what you mean, I usually record using the line in RCA connectors. You can also use the mic input depending on what you need.

I use ableton live as it can midi sync and capture your loops instead of bouncing down to one sample bank.....unlimited looping fun, then u get to use some cool effects in ableton and record an arangement, then you can even start from the start and add layers to your song...no matter what u do it is in time as it is midi synced! Add a kaossilator pro to it and your into the stratosphere!
