Characters possible for editing texts/descriptions

Characters possible for editing texts/descriptions

Can anybody confirm (since I do not have a Kronos myself) if:
- the set of characters/symbols to be used in a program/combi/set list slot name is equal to the set in e.g. the M50 or earlier synth?
- if this set is equal to the characters/symbols for the descriptions (512 length) of set list slots?

I need this info to be able to create a mini editor for changing these names/descriptions.

Or as a shortcut: if you have a Kronos, please check if:
- go to write program (in the menu of a program)
- press the T(ext) symbol to change the parameter name.
- check if you see an onscreen keyboard
- if you press Shift, you see capitals and some symbols change
- if you prses Symbol, you see (mostly) the upper row changing

Check if this also happens for the set list description.

Thank you! ... lots of people are (positively) jealous just by the ability you have to turn on a Kronos :-)

There is definitely an on-screen keyboard which defaults to the 'Shift' page. The characters are:
Shift page:

Normal page:

And my heart goes out to all who are awaiting or considering a Kronos (or have been in any way temporarily separated from their Kronos). I hope that our work here will help them out when they're able to procure one!

Yes this helps a lot ... Wednesday I have my M50 back home again so I can compare it, but as far as I can remember they are similar. However, stubborn as I am, I am going to try other characters too ... would be nice to use (most of) the complete ascii character set.

If you want to mod up a PCG file and send it over I can load it on the Kronos and see what it does.

I will send one with a few changed characters (and the changed checksum) and a PCG with characters not in the tables you sent (but I assume this last PCG will not work).
