I'm happy to announce that KARMA Kronos Software (US $169) has now been released and is available at the KL Store:

If you're not aware of what KARMA Kronos Software is, it's the entire KARMA engine of the Kronos in software form,
and one of the main things it does is let you create and edit your own GEs and fill up those 1536 User GE Slots that
Korg put into the Kronos. It also gives you a detailed graphical interface into the hidden workings of KARMA that you
simply cannot see on the Kronos itself. Full details on this page:

KARMA Kronos FAQ

I you'd like to take a look at some of the documentation and tutorials without buying the program, they're available here:

Also, I'd like to mention that there is a discount of $40 for anyone who owns any of my previous software programs
KARMA MW, KARMA Oasys, KARMA M3, KARMA M50 or KARMA Triton - meaning you get the program for $129. You
can check the details of the offer from the KL Store ordering page (yes, there are a few details):

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing how you enjoy the program. :)

Thanks for your continued support of all Korg platforms Stephen!

As a customer of the OASYS version I can thoroughly recommend that this is a sound investment for anyone wanting to work more deeply with Karma than the keyboard allows.

Yes, there's a lot to the application (maybe am showing signs of age here!) but you get maximum control of GEs, not to mention the creation of entirely new ones so entirely worth getting over the learning curve.

Great news Stephen. I've just ordered this.

Thanks for including a generous discount for existing owners of karmalab software.

1) You don't need to download anything, because the manuals and tutorials come with the software installation... BUT...

2) The manual has been (finally) completely updated to be 100% current with the current 2.2.8 version of the software. That alone took me about 2 weeks. ;) Many chapters were updated, that were previously somewhat out of date. As you are already familiar with the software, that might not make a difference to you...but I mention it anyway.

3) The included tutorials were updated for KK, but again you probably don't need those. But new owners are highly recommended to work through them.

Cool. This is definitely something I was waiting for.

Any chance this will ever be a stand alone product in some form? I think you could make a killing.

Thanks Stephen and thank You for your discount for existing KARMA Software users.
Bruce, there is already a topic on KarmaLab on this, creating a VSTi KARMA
Software is some ridiculous work since the whole thing is based solely on a
particular engine, i am not saying it cant be done but its uffff...

Installed and running right now.

Great work Stephen.

Worth mentioning for those people who mis the physical pads - this software enables playing pads by using your PC or Mac keyboard. Very nice feature.

It may actually happen someday....but I can't say for sure. ;) In the meantime, I continue with what I know how to do - which is make versions that go with particular synths. Finishing the KARMA Motif software for the Yamaha Motif XS and XF is the next thing on the agenda here. ;)

That's encouraging. I think it would be game changer in the enormous software market.

is there a demo version of this software? I would love to be able to run this on my netbook, but I don't use Windows and I'd like to try and see if it works in Linux using Wine before I pay $170 for it.
