My decision is to keep my Oasys 76 and get a Kronos 61. I have played it 3 times at a local music shop and it seems reasonably well built to me. You really can't compare the build quality to an Oasys...it isn't fair. However, the Kronos makes a great companion piece to the Oasys IMHO. You guys have some great insights on this forum.

If you're keeping your 76, any interest in buying a 73? Then you'd have both weighted and unweighted to leverage.

Honestly for me, no Mark. Sometimes I do like the hammer action, but over the years of utilizing non hammer action, it just flows better for me. It is a good idea to have hammer action, but some sounds are much more difficult to emulate phrasing on that type of board. You guys have been cool not to roast me since I am newer to this forum. A lot of great posters here.

Well, you've at least thought it through. I hope you enjoy having both! I certainly miss aspects of my OASYS.

And yes, there seem to be good posters on here, but also some of the more common internet types that are irrational, hateful, rude, and impatient at times. But a helpful forum overall!

Some of you people are snobs (from bits read on this forum) and I read the op and I don't think it's heart warming at all. I think it's typical of some people taking something that was and still is amazing for granted. I want to say lots more but am biting my tongue Needless to say, if you have a Oasys or if you have a Kronos....you don't have much to moan about. Some people don't even know where their next meals coming from....

So I'll save up for a Kronos and be thankful that i'm in a position to do so.
