Korg M1

Post by stevenalong »

Changed the battery in my M1 and then tried to re-load the factory settings with an MPC00P Memory Card, but when I hit load card I get an error message that says the card is not formatted. Don't know what to do, because I've used it on my other M1 with no problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm new at this and didn't know where to go. Typed in M1 but there were no headers. Where can I go?

You might try Gearslutz.com , vintagesynth.com or soundonsound.com forums.

alas you probably won’t find much service here on an M1 – Korgforums are a bit skewed towards the latest Korg Workstations.

Sharp - I realise we chatted about it through PM but would respectfully recommend (it's easy to recommend stuff :-) )the following changes and additions to these forums:

1. Forum for Korg M1, T3 and O1W

2. Move Korg General Synthesizers up above the Triton forums that are now a bit dated and arguably over serviced with separate forums, quite far up the Index page. Perhaps consolidate all of those into one Triton forum

3. Forums for Monotron, Monotribe

I realise it's all work - but Korgforums could do with an update in these regards (when you get a minute !!)

Cheers,
Kevin.

i kinda want to add my 2 cents on this - maybe this forum could cover all AI2 synths in addition to those listed above like the X and N series, since they use the same technology. could we group these together by synth engines? put the EDS-i synths in one forum like the microstation, PS60, etc. i feel like those definitely don't belong here! no offense intended to any of those users :P it's just the technology is very new and different from that of the 01/W and M1!
