Load patches to M1 from Korg Legacy Collection M1 software?

I have both hardware and software version of Korg M1 synth, software as a part of KLC Collection. I know that it is possible to save patches from KLC M1 version into .m1prog and .m1all format.

But as KLC uses added additional wave forms which are not present in hardware M1 original memory - will it work?

Before, more than 10 years ago, it was possible to buy Frontal Lobe expansion from Cannon Research that add additional wave forms to M1.

I have RAM cards that I can use with hardware M1 but I'm not sure how to manage this.

Any idea?

Cheers.

not possible with out pcm cards with pcm eaveform multisounds on

frontal lobe and sam1 did do modules but they are no longer manufactured

the only way you can do it is get a t1/t2ex/t3exor t2 /t3 and solder in the pcm ram chips easy job but costs $80 as each chip is $10 then theres the shipping to

if you creat patches on the software version you need to change them to sysex to work on the m1 any patches you have with the card pcm data being used the the patch will be blank for the osc becuase you dont have the pcm card plugged in

the software version provided all cards that were available and also the 5 t1 disks that came with the t1 these are extra pcm samples

OK so if I manage to get Frontal Lobe, I will be able to do that?

Yes, any idea on how to transform .fxb or .m1prog/.m1all to sysex?
But with Frontal Lobe this will work, right?

Again, I will be able to load this in M1 hardware with Frontal Lobe?
